Originally formed in Nashville in 2002, Welcome to Ashley now calls Chicago home. It is befitting that the talented four-piece has adopted the city of big shoulders—WTA is at once hardworking and cosmopolitan; gritty and soulful, yet glamorous and urbane.

Now, in the space of an eponymous debut LP (2006), a pair of outstanding EPs and the new full-length, Beyond the Pale, Welcome to Ashley has garnered the support of Chicago radio (WXRT, Q101), charmed the independent press and opened for The Wedding Present, Girl in a Coma, Tommy Stinson and Mexican alt-sensation Zoé.
